I’ve decided I’m ok with the fact that my blog is sometimes just an advertisement for Domino Dollhouse, because they’re just that awesome.
Every time I think they can’t get more awesome, they surprise me again. The latest item I’m completely in love with is their rainbow metallic zippered skirt. All I have to say about it is: !!!
I also love that they have a My Little Pony headband. It makes me want to start gluing all my pony figurines onto headbands…except I have terrible luck with hot glue, and everything I glue falls apart. Boo.
Here’s a collage I put together of the recent items I love at Domino Dollhouse, including the pony headband and the fabulous skirt. Click the picture for item details:
Through Erin’s latest outfit post–how cute is that ’90s-esque flower dress?–I found out about the Fall Fashion Faceoff that Kelly of Masque Mag has organized. I have a few outfits in mind for the challenge, and I’ll be posting them soon! (Hint: there will be some plaid/leopard mixing, and some good times with multiple black-and-white-florals.)
In the meantime, here are some Polyvore collages I created inspired by the aesthetic(s) of the challenge. You can click the images for more information.
Cooler weather means I get to break out my short tutus! Ironically enough, I only wear them in the winter with leggings, because they’re too short to cover the athletic shorts I wear in the summer.
Shirt: Marshall’s, vest: Old Navy, skirt: Target, leggings: American Apparel, shoes: Naot, wristband: Macy’s, hair flower: H&M, earrings: Artifaktori
These jeans. LOVE. I remember when huge flares were a thing in the late ’90s, and I really hope they come back so that plus size stores will start making them. I want a pair so badly.
For the next few days, I’ll be at the computer less than usual due to Thanksgiving. I still have posts scheduled to go up, but I won’t be able to approve and respond to comments as quickly as usual. Readers in the US, enjoy the holiday, and readers everywhere else, enjoy the rest of your week and weekend!
This combination of pink, black, and skulls is 100% fabulous.
I love Advanced Style–you’re never too old to play dress-up.
I don’t know why, but I’ve been feeling monochromatic lately. Here are some pictures of my foray into all-purple:
