It’s finally getting warm here. So, naturally, I’ve got florals on the brain.

This purple coat is lovely–bright colors make winter so much more fun.
I’m a total sucker for metallics. Especially when combined with lace and spikes!
#FatshionFebruary, Day 3
You can thank Fatshion February for the fact that I got all Goth-ed up instead of wearing sweatpants to watch the Puppy Bowl. (Although I do love my leopard and pink leopard fuzzy sweatpants, so you’ll probably see them sometime this month.)

Thursday fa(t)shion inspirations, 1/17/13
Sorry for the lateness (again)–I just got home from New York City last night! It was a fun trip, and I’ll post about it soon.
In the meantime, enjoy these lovely looks from around the internet.
I love love love these Domino Dollhouse striped leggings. Unfortunately, they’re no longer available, but I’m going to get vertical stripes on my legs someday, one way or another. They’re so wonderfully circus-y. I saw two women wearing similar leggings in NYC, and was quite jealous.
Another great black and white outfit. I love finding fashionable men on the internet!
OOTD: Pastel business casual
Some of you may be looking at my more outrageous outfits and thinking, “Does she dress like that all the time?”
The answer is no. As much as I love getting be-tutu-ed and decked out in spikes and studs and rainbow clip-in bangs, it’s neither practical for everyday nor appropriate for office work.
I do like to inject some color into my workwear, though. And I have been known in multiple workplaces for my large collection of fascinators. They make great conversation-starters!
Here’s an example of an average workday outfit:

Top and small pearl necklace: thrifted, cardigan: Talbots, pants: Old Navy, fascinator and large pearl necklace: So Good, earrings: Sick for Cute (free gift with a purchase) Continue reading
Tutu envy, part 3
Recently I saw both Sal of Already Pretty and Alison of Wardrobe Oxygen wearing lovely tutus.

I love Sal’s slightly goth take on the tutu. And check out the kitty pictures in her post!

Alison, mixing stripes and leopard like a boss.
Alison linked to the eBay posting where she found her tutu. Sal just wrote that she got hers on eBay, but considering how similar it looks, I’m guessing it might be from the same seller.
And that tutu? Absolute love.
Domino Dollhouse on All On The Line with Joe Zee
I’ve never watched All On the Line (both because I don’t have the Sundance Channel and because I’m not a big TV person, My Little Pony and How I Met Your Mother aside), but I was excited to hear that Domino Dollhouse would be featured on their show. DD is awesome, and go them for getting some representation in the media!
Tom & Lorenzo has a recap of the episode, complete with pictures. My thoughts, based on the recap:

Pink! Pink! Pink! Tracy rocks the hair, and I want every piece of clothing in this picture.

THAT ROOM. Is gorgeous. Does the show always take place there?
On to the actual clothes…
