There is no question.
Bodysuit: ReDress, tutu and necklace and bow: Target, shoes: Simply Be, earrings: So Good, bangle: H&M, rhinestone bracelet: Forever 21
The shoes, unfortunately, don’t fit quite right. So I’m going to return them, but I had to get a few pictures in them first. They’re just so…me. And ugh, I hate how hard it is to find nice shoes in extra-wide at all.
Due to financial stuff, I’m temporarily giving up on finding pretty shoes, but someday….someday.
The Sunday of Thanksgiving weekend, one of my friends invited me over for a holiday feast. Although I knew most of the guests would be dressed casually, it was a perfect excuse for me to get glammed up.
Happily, I was not the only one dressed up for the occasion–my friend’s sister was wearing a gorgeous gothic-inspired Betsey Johnson top, and her husband was wearing a fez! They both have fabulous, steampunk- and vintage- inspired style, and always know I can count on them to show up dressed with panache. They were likewise unsurprised to see that I was dressed up. 🙂
Dress: Macy’s, fishnets and shawl and boa: not sure, shoes: Naot, fascinator and earrings and short rhinestone necklace: So Good, long rhinestone necklace: Buffalo Exchange, medium rhinestone necklace: Target, pearls and rose bangle: H&M, crystals: my great-grandmother’s, silver/black bangles: Torrid and Deb, rhinestone bracelet: Forever 21, heart rhinestone ring: the Toy Chest, rose ring: Claire’s
I’m really not sure about this jacket. I love how it looks on me, but…it’s not soft. And I am really particular about the comfortableness of my clothing (which is why I’m always stealing Steve’s ridiculously comfy Rainbow Dash hoodie). I’ve been thinking about selling it for a while, but I can never make up my mind.
Pleather jacket and round stud wristband: Macy’s, shirt: Old Navy, jeans and rhinestone necklace: Target, fascinator: WhichGoose, spike necklace: eBay, earrings and rose ring: Claire’s, pyramid stud wristband: PacSun, bangles: Torrid and Deb, heart ring: The Toy Chest
On Friday night, I went to a friend’s party. I wanted to be both comfortable and a little dressy, so I went with this white maxi dress from Old Navy (which I got a few years ago for $15!), my favorite flower crown, and a bunch of rhinestone jewelry.
At ArtBeat, I met Joolie Cahill, the owner/designer of I Am Joolienn. Her tagline is “Making catastrophes stylish since ’84,” which is something I can get behind!
