Outfit August, day 16: birthday party extravaganza! (picture-heavy)

Tomorrow is my 29th birthday! šŸ˜€ I celebrated over the weekend with my traditional combination of beach-going, dinner, and an evening party. I’m putting the pictures a bit out of order (dinner, beach, then party) because this amazing dress needs to be at the beginning of the post.

#FFFaceoff Inspirations

Through Erin’s latest outfit post–how cute is that ’90s-esque flower dress?–I found out about the Fall Fashion Faceoff that Kelly of Masque Mag has organized.Ā I have a few outfits in mind for the challenge, and I’ll be posting them soon! (Hint: there will be some plaid/leopard mixing, and some good times with multiple black-and-white-florals.)

In the meantime, here are some Polyvore collages I created inspired by the aesthetic(s) of the challenge. You can click the images for more information.

You can click each picture to get to the Polyvore set, which includes links to each item.

OOTD: Hello Kitty love

This is the outfit I wore to the Big ThriftyĀ back in May–yes, I know, I’m still catching up on outfit posts!

The skirt is reversible–you can see me wearing the other side here. I also have the same skirt in turquoise/brown, which you can see here and here. Reversible skirts are the best.
