This is my second outfit post for the Fall Fashion Faceoff challenge organized by Kelly of Masque Mag. It combines a few of my favorite things: ombre, floral, vertical stripes, and of course, a tiny hat.
top: Pink Clove, leggings: Wet Seal, necklace: Macy’s, zipper bracelet: some random store that was going out of business on Newbury Street a few years ago, studded wristband: PacSun, earrings: gift from a relative, boots: Hot Topic way back in the day, ring: Kelsea Echo, tiny hat headband: Claire’s
Dress: The Big Thrifty, boots: Target, purse: thrifted, bandana: acquired at some point during high school, spike wristband: Hot Topic, studded wristband: PacSun, bangles: Deb, ball chain necklace: stolen from a windowshade back in the day, padlock necklace: taken off of a suitcase, heart-shaped mood necklace: Claire’s (this one is relatively new, but it’s a replacement for a similar one I had and loved in high school!), earrings: Claire’s, ring: from a seaside gift shop in like 1996
This outfit combines pieces from both this year’s and last year’s Big Thrifty! I got the red ruffle tube top last year (you can also see it here), and the cherry bolero this year. Both are originally from Torrid, as is the skirt.
Skirt, top, and bolero: see above, shoes: Naot, hair flower: Claire’s, spike wristbands: Hot Topic, necklace and earrings: So Good
The whole pin-up/rockabilly look is pretty different from what I usually wear, but I like it! That’s one of the things I love about the Big Thrifty–it’s much easier to experiment with new styles and things you might not normally wear when they’re cheap and you can try them on in person.
