Thursday tutu-spirations, 5/21/15, and blog announcement
Hi everyone, sorry about the lack of Wednesday Fa(t)shion Inspirations and Sunday Links posts last week! I’ve been in full-on wedding planning mode, and even though I’ve still been saving links and outfit posts, and taking outfit pictures, I just haven’t been in the brainspace to blog.
So I’m going on a semi-hiatus, which is to say: I’ll post when I can, and I’ll try to get through my backlog of outfit pictures eventually, but I may not always keep up with my regular weekly posts. After the wedding, which will be about a year from now, I should be back to my regular posting schedule.
In the meantime, you can still find me on Facebook, Tumblr. and occasionally Twitter. I hope you are all doing well!

Alternative Curves: Leader of the (’90s Punk Girl) Pack
I missed last month’s Alternative Curves blog hop, since it was only open for a week, but luckily this one is open all month. November’s theme is Leader of the Pack, which I interpreted in a ’90s goth-punk way, inspired mostly by The Craft (which I somehow haven’t seen yet–this must be remedied). I’ve just been itching to wear baby barrettes and combat boots lately, so this was the perfect opportunity!

Outfit August, day 23, part 2: plaid, feathers, and rhinestones
After the beach, Steve and I went to my brother’s housewarming party. I didn’t really feel like getting dressed up but I did anyway, and I’m happy with how my outfit came together.

Outfit August, day 20, part 2: pretty in punk
For the evening of my birthday, I went to a party held by my friend Emily, who was visiting from out of town. I went full-out girly-punk both in celebration of my birthday and because I knew that Emily, as a fellow punk-clothing-lover, would appreciate it.
