OOTD: purple kimono-style top

#FFFaceoff Inspirations
Through Erin’s latest outfit post–how cute is that ’90s-esque flower dress?–I found out about the Fall Fashion Faceoff that Kelly of Masque Mag has organized. I have a few outfits in mind for the challenge, and I’ll be posting them soon! (Hint: there will be some plaid/leopard mixing, and some good times with multiple black-and-white-florals.)
In the meantime, here are some Polyvore collages I created inspired by the aesthetic(s) of the challenge. You can click the images for more information.
OOTD: Tutu or not tutu?
There is no question.
Bodysuit: ReDress, tutu and necklace and bow: Target, shoes: Simply Be, earrings: So Good, bangle: H&M, rhinestone bracelet: Forever 21

Due to financial stuff, I’m temporarily giving up on finding pretty shoes, but someday….someday.
OOTD: Pink and gray

Luckily, I can fit into an XL in American Apparel leggings, which are fairly durable. [Insert obligatory rant about how arbitrary women’s sizing is–how weird it is that I’m wearing a 3X top, an XXL skirt, and XL leggings all in the same outfit.] They’re a little long, so they bunch up around the ankles, but that doesn’t bother me too much.
Top: Deb, tutu: Target, leggings: American Apparel, shoes: Naot via David’s Famous Name Shoes, earrings: not sure, bracelets: Torrid and Deb, necklace: a pendant from Michael’s on a chain I already owned, fascinator: Claire’s (another $1 find!) Continue reading
