I love this jacket so much–it’s great for work, and also looks good with more casual outfits. Unfortunately, the quality is terrible. I’ve only washed it once or twice, but it’s already pilling a lot.
It’s really disappointing to find a piece that’s so versatile and pretty, and then find out that the fabric holds up so poorly. If it were better quality, I could see this becoming one of my wardrobe staples that I’d wear for years and years.
At least the dress is better quality, and it’s also versatile! You can see it as the basis of a summery outfit here.
I wish I could have taken these pictures in my bedroom, which is also blue and pink. But it’s hard to get full-body shots there, because the bed and other furniture take up so much space.
That dress looks really nice; I haven’t check the links provided but I’m going to need a dress soon for a summer wedding. I honestly don’t wear dresses so this will be challenging shopping.
Also you misspelled ‘leggings’/teggings?
Thanks! A few places I recommend looking for wedding-guest dresses are ModCloth, Yours Clothing, and SimplyBe. I honestly don’t really recommend Zulily, which is where I got this dress, if you’re looking for something specific–their shipping is really slow (like sometimes over a month, because it can take a while for them to ship the items in the first place), and they don’t accept returns. If you can find White Mark dresses on another site, though, I definitely recommend them.
Teggings = a cross between tights and leggings.
New terminology noted!
Is it wrong to wear leggings or teggins in the summer? I am not a fan of showing off my legs!
I think wearing leggings or teggings in the summer is fine! Re/Dress does make capri-length teggings (which aren’t available on the site now, but probably will be in the spring), but if that doesn’t appeal to you, I don’t see anything wrong with wearing full-length ones.
You can never wear too many pearls. I find your posts a highlight, as you really do rock your style.
Thanks! 🙂
