Thanks! They’re shutting it down mostly for economic reasons, but I still like to think that the protests had some impact.
We had an unlooked-for victory in my state, too! This plant they were going to build in western Kansas has just had its permit revoked.
It had been stalled by a particularly heroic state employee, but he was fired and the permit was given, and I despaired. But now the state Supreme Court has revoked it.
